Overview: Join our dynamic team at Our client, a technology company dedicated to modernizing utility distribution grids. We provide smart grid solutions, enabling utilities to harness data for efficient grid management. As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll drive sales strategy in the Southeastern states, exceeding revenue targets, fostering relationships, and identifying new opportunities within the utility sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed assigned order and revenue quotas for Our client’s solutions.
  • Develop and execute a strategic regional plan for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce CRM.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
  • Attend relevant events and engage with industry associations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of complex, long-sales cycle solution sales experience.
  • Proven track record in strategic sales and exceeding goals.
  • Utility industry knowledge, with a focus on AMR/AMI or smart grid applications.
  • Strong Southeastern utility industry relationships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage multiple projects.
