Position Summary

The Manager of Sponsorship and Events is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of all sponsorships that Anterix participates in. These include live and virtual industry events and custom throughout the year. The role will require full sponsorship and activation know-how for live booth presence, virtual events, executive communication and collateral support, creative content—all designed to deliver an experience that supports the corporate objectives of the company. This role will require an event and sponsorship specialist who is a leader as an individual contributor and is adept at leveraging resources cross-functionally, within an agile, collaborative environment. 

Responsibilities

  • The Manager will implement sponsorship marketing initiatives that deliver against the desired outcomes and corporate goals of the company 
  • This individual will carefully vet all events and sponsorships for consideration on the annual Marketing plan 
  • Act as the immediate, day-to-day go-to for all-things Sponsorship Marketing for the company and be the direct Sponsorship and Event Marketing team liaison to the Corporate Communications team  
  • Prepare and administer the Sponsorship and Events budget 
  • Establish and maintain a consistent Brand Voice and experience throughout all the events and sponsorships that Anterix participates in 
  • Plan and oversee company participation in trade shows 
  • Support the needs of the Investor Relations Department (e.g., Investor Day) 
  • Identify, evaluate, select, and manage event marketing-related vendors 
  • Recommend new ways to improve Sponsorship and Event Marketing 

Skills

  • At least 5 years of relevant Sponsorship and Event Marketing experience 
  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing environment a huge plus 
  • Subject matter expertise in energy, telecom, or relevant industry expertise is also a plus 
  • Open mind and willingness to get out of one’s comfort zone 
  • Willingness to take calculated risks 
  • Unafraid to make mistakes and learn from errors 
  • Hunger for continuous improvement 
  • Proficient at virtual event marketing technology applications 
  • Adept at using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications 
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule within an agile environment
